new Talaria komodo review, price, specs and release date

Talaria Komodo – New for 2025 for professionals!

The Talaria Komodo (official model designation: TL6000 Komodo MX-CE) is the latest development of Talaria Power Tech, which sets a new standard in the category of electric off-road motorcycles. This model not only approaches traditional gasoline-powered racing machines in size and performance, but also seriously competes in its design, chassis and technological level. With this model, Talaria clearly indicated: the future of electric motorcycling is no longer a compromise, but a professional alternative. The official presentation took place on April 17, with the participation of international Talaria dealers.

Talaria Komodo Price: $5,799.00

Talaria Komodo release date: 04 July 2025

Peak performance – when the numbers speak for themselves

One of the main features of the Talaria Komodo is its massive electric drivetrain. The peak power is 32 kW (approx. 43 hp) , which the controller provides for a period of 1 minute. This short-term extra power is perfect for accelerating after a jump or overcoming technical climbs, for example. The nominal power of 24 kW can be maintained over a longer period, so the motor is not only capable of lightning-fast acceleration, but also performs well on long, extreme off-road sections.

The engine controller is a sinusoidal, highly efficient unit that provides finely modulated power and precise torque delivery. This allows the engine characteristics to be controlled much better than in the case of traditional gas-powered enduros with a cable throttle, especially on technical terrain.

Talaria Komodo’s power supply also includes thermal management

The Talaria Komodo battery operates at a voltage of 96 volts, with a capacity of 45 Ah, which means a total energy of 4.32 kWh . The cells use premium quality Greenway lithium-ion technology, which ensures excellent cycle life, low self-discharge and reliable thermal stability. It is important to mention that the system works with advanced thermal management: the cells are not only well physically separated, but also have electronic thermal monitoring, so in case of overheating it automatically limits the power, preventing damage.

Komodo charger

The factory 12A fast charger works according to EU standards and can be safely operated from most household networks. The charging time is 3-3.5 hours for a full charge, but partial charges can also be carried out without problems. The connector is protected according to IP standards, so it can be safely used outdoors.

Chassis and suspension – not just marketing, but real quality

One of the biggest challenges for electric off-road motorcycles is the right suspension. The Talaria Komodo sets the bar high in this area as well: at the front, an inverted air telescopic fork with a dual-chamber design provides 250 mm of suspension travel – this is clearly the range of competition-level motorcycles.

The rear shock absorber is also air-cooled, with 90 mm of travel , which is particularly advantageous in extreme terrain, as it provides greater energy absorption, while the preload is adjustable, allowing it to be tailored to different modes of use (e.g. individual or racing settings). The dynamic behavior of the suspension has been optimized so that, with a total weight of less than 100 kg, there is no “over-sprung” feeling, but rather precise feedback.

Frame design and geometry

The Komodo’s forged aluminum frame is stiff yet lightweight, providing an optimal balance between weight, durability and handling. The frame geometry – wheelbase, track and center of gravity – has been optimized specifically for aggressive off-road use. The center of gravity is kept low, allowing for quick changes of direction and safe balance even on steep slopes.

The 21” front and 18” rear wheel sizes are industry standard in the enduro world and are compatible with all major racing tire brands. This is not only beneficial for maximizing traction, but also for customizability: you can easily choose the right tire for different terrain conditions.

Control, driving modes, electronics

Talaria Komodo offers four driving modes:

  • Eco: energy-efficient operation, optimized for maximum range.
  • Sport: more dynamic throttle response, medium-high power output.
  • Hard: maximum torque and acceleration, for racing use.
  • Reverse: reversing function for maneuvering on technical sections.

Regenerative braking can be adjusted to simulate a traditional engine brake feel to suit your riding style. In addition, the electronic control can communicate with diagnostic tools, which is extremely important during service or tuning.
